Did you know that 93% of our communication is not verbal?

In 1967 Dr. Albert Mehrabian discovered that 7% of our communication is linguistic, that is, the words we use. 38% of communication is tonal: intonation, volume, rhythm. 55% of communication is about body languages such as facial expressions, gestures, and posture.

That is why it is so important to know how to calibrate.

Calibration, a technique of neurolinguistic programming, helps us achieve better communication with others by working with the non-verbal portions of communication.

It consists of observing and measuring changes in the body language of the people you are addressing to achieve synchronization with them. While observing the subtle and not so subtle changes you can distinguish differences in the other person mental processes, states, and behaviors.

This technique can be used in every aspect of our life, for it can help improve communication in a business negotiation, in a conversation with your spouse or when addressing a crowd giving a lecture.
