How much do you believe in yourself?

As a NLP coach and Trainer I believe in you a 100%

During my training and my years as a Coach I have learned to listen and ask questions and that makes life more interesting, in my opinion. There is so much information hidden in the language we use and my answer to the rhetorical question, “do you know what I mean?” is more often than not, “no”, “would you care to be more specific?”.

We often assume we know what someone means because of our own experiences, when our experiences are unique and not at all the same. It is my job as a Coach to ask the question that will inspire you to find your own answers as I believe 100% that you have the answer.

To be able to ask the questions that peels off  the layers, and filters that we use when we communicate, you have to listen. Listen to the language, the tone of voice, the speed, and the rhythm. Observe the body language, the breathing, the eye movements and the colour of the skin.

Little by little as a detective you peel away the layers and the filters to find out what it is that stops the person getting or achieving what she or he wants, whether it is business, relationships, health related or something different. And you will have the answers; therefore I ask, how much do you believe in yourself?

It is interesting to use a Coach who knows how to ask the questions that can get you the answers. Sometimes we have beliefs and values that keep us stuck where we are.

Like a friend of mine who was getting ready to leave rehab, “I’m not ready to face the world”, “I totally understand that, the world seems to be a lot to face?” The tone of my voice went up at the end of the phrase as to ask a question. His answer was “well maybe I’m not facing the whole world”.

It is possible to create mountains for yourself using only language. It is the same with pain and illness you can make it smaller or bigger in your life. You can decide how much space it gets, using your mind and your language. You have got that power!

You may even have people around you who are great at carrying a heavy burden as if it was light. It is easy to make the mistake to think that just because they carry it well it is not heavy. You can lift them up or pull them down. Asking questions is a good way to know how you do what.

So, believe in yourself, you have the answers and you can ask questions.

I hope you are as happy as you would like to be and remember it is  free to be nice.

Best wishes

Ivalo
